Curbside Pick-Up Request

Thank you for taking part in the Dryden Public Library's Curbside Pick-Up Service.  

Please be aware that although we strive to sanitize and practice safe handling of materials, The Dryden Public Library cannot guarantee the sanitation of library items.  Please handle items with caution.

As a precaution, we advise patrons to wash their hands before and after handling library material, to avoid touching their face while reading, and to avoid sneezing or coughing on library material, for their safety and the safety of the public.

Our COVID-19 procedures call for all returned library materials to be quarantined for at least 72 hours and disinfected, before being placed back into the lending collection, to reduce the risk of spreading illness. 

At this time, the Dryden Public Library recommends that patrons who are immunosuppressed, or otherwise at a high risk of COVID-19 infection, not borrow library material.  If high risk patrons choose to borrow library material they should proceed with caution, and take personal protective measures. 

To help our staff keep up with the demand for curbside pick-up we will be enforcing the following borrowing limits: 

• Maximum of 3 DVD/Blu-Ray items per household, per week.
• Maximum of 5 Children's books per household, per week. 
• Maximum of 5 Adult books / Teen Books / Audiobooks per household, per week. 
• Inter-Library Loan services are not avaialble at this time.

All books and audiobooks will be checked out with a 14 day loan period, including new books. Due dates for all DVD and Blu-Ray items will be extended to 7 days. Items can be renewed online or over the phone. 

Please check the Library Catalogue before requesting material.  Your curbside order will not be processed until all material is available. To avoid long waiting periods please check to ensure that items are available before submitting your request.  Please keep in mind that all returned items will be quarantined for 72 hours after their return, and will not be available for loan during that time. 

Loans will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
