The Dryden Fire Service is mandated by the Fire Protection and Prevention Act to respond to complaints about fire safety concerns. Fire Prevention Inspectors with the Dryden Fire Service can only enforce violations found under the Ontario Fire Code; these violations may include, but are not limited to; maintenance of fire safety systems, smoke alarms, blocked exits, breaches in fire separations or missing fire separations, missing or broken fire doors, severe electrical problems, improperly used or stored flammable liquids or gasses and unsafe accumulation of combustible materials.
In order to request an inspection or file a complaint about a fire safety concern, please complete and submit this form. Please note that if a complaint is recieved after business hours, it will be dealt with on the next business day.
We do not accept anonymous complaints, it is required that you provide your name and contact information. Our inspectors may need to contact your for more specific information or for access into the building. All private information provided through this form will be kept confidential; the identity of the complainant is not released.
